Black Re-emergence No. 15 is 128 pages of evidence of how much Black African-heritage liberation has moved forward in recent years.
Many more Black Africans are participating in RC. They report on RC conferences and workshops. They write about the climate crisis in Africa, about African Community building, about war and genocide, “mental health” liberation, and more.
There is a section about Black men and much about Black women’s liberation. Many people write about the leadership they are taking.
Barbara Love is leaving her job as International Liberation Reference Person for Black African Heritage People. She writes, “The job . . . offered a place and structure within which I could pursue my life’s mission: to push the edges of Black liberation.”
Black Re-emergence No. 15 clearly shows how well she has done this. It is evidence of her “brilliant forty-year run.” Congratulations, Barbara! And thanks to all who contributed to this great journal.
