Discharging My Allergies
My allergies are hardly debilitating, but they can be quite annoying. I'm allergic to pollen, mold, and other things in the air. I've suffered with allergies since I went to college and in the last three to four years have figured out how to discharge them.
I remember the session that turned things around. I decided as client to go back and remember the first time I had allergies, when I was in college. I was terrified about going to college alone. It was the first time I was to be living away from my family and making big decisions on my own. I also put a lot of pressure on myself to perform well academically.
The day after that session my allergy symptoms completely subsided!
I continued to discharge on this memory, and it brought me to how my mother had gone to England to study nursing. She was born and raised in Jamaica and had never taken on anything that big. She used to tell me stories about going through nursing school and how isolated she was. I got the impression she was terrified as well.
Now every time I have allergy symptoms, I go directly to this set of memories, discharge there, and my symptoms go away.
I'd love to hear how other people have been working on their allergies.
