The fossil fuel industry’s promotion of fossil fuels, even after knowing the harmful effects, got us into a climate emergency. There has been consistent international effort to stop the use of fossil fuels and reduce carbon and methane emissions. As a response the industry has pushed numerous false solutions to the climate emergency, solutions that make it appear that they are reducing emissions, but do not, and in some cases make the climate crisis worse.

Some of the solutions they promote increase the exploitation of people and resources.

Join us in this webinar to look at some of those false solutions and the ongoing equity work for  good solutions that do not continue the exploitation and oppression in the Global South and beyond.
