United to End Racism (UER) at the Gandhi-King Conference
The Gandhi-King Conference on Peacemaking is a three-day conference bringing together modern visionaries on nonviolence and social change with community leaders, activists, academics and organizers to train, learn, plan and organize to create a culture of liberation and justice for all.
We sent a small delegation to the 2009 conference where Barbara Love, the International Reference Person for Black Liberation, was one of the keynotes. We did several workshops there introducing UER. We sent another delegation in 2010 where we again did several introductory workshops as well as listening projects..
