An Extraordinary Organization

It struck me recently what an extraordinary organization the Re-evaluation Counselling Community is: the Guidelines,1 the structure, and the immense amount of work that goes into planning how it operates. But then I realised that it is a community—that the organization and leadership of it create the circumstances for us to build the relationships that are the basis from which I work toward my and others’ re-emergence.

I am now reading the latest Present Time with a new lens. The articles about ways to strengthen our counselling, our clienting, and at the root of them our relationships, are crucial. I am deeply committed to these relationships.

Didn’t I hit the jackpot2 when a friend took me to an introductory day on RC many years ago? How fortunate I am, and how important it is to get past the barriers that prevent me from sharing the details of this powerful tool and Community with the other people I am committed to.
