Always Trying

As far as we can tell,1 all human beings hate and resent having hurts still inside them. And although control patterns2 get installed on top of this and hide it, all of us inside have been planning, all our lives, to find some way to get those hurts out. We’ve apparently become very controlled and discouraged, but we still try to find some way to get the recovery process started.

2 A “control pattern” is a behavior or attitude a person (unawarely) adopts to keep from discharging.
