From US Election Project: Men and the Working Class,

There are two constituencies who will be voting in the US elections who have no liberation movement.  They are men and the working class. It is dangerous to leave two such critical constituencies without any explanation of why their lives are so difficult especially given the roles they play in our societies. The lack of rational  liberation program leaves them vulnerable to manipulation by anything that seems to come close to understanding their troubles. The effects of this are being seen in the United States and around the world. [And ultimately played a key role in Republican success.] We have good theory for both groups and we need to up our efforts to reach them.

In solidarity

Dan Nickerson ILRP for the Working Class

One of my favorite quotes from Harvey from a class at a workshop: ‘The disaster you are trying so hard to avoid, happened years and years ago.’ Not that the current disaster is not a disaster but that the one that you fear now is not the one that is right in front of you.
